What is FaceTite?
FaceTite is a minimally invasive treatment that uses radio frequency energy to dramatically tighten loose skin on the face and neck without any incisions, sutures, or significant downtime.

At present, Dr. Ahn is primarily using FaceTite for skin around the jawline and neck area.
How Does FaceTite Work?
FaceTite works by using radio frequency to gently and safely heat fat and skin. By precisely heating the tissue to the optimal temperature, fat is melted and skin is tightened. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia with a “relaxing pill” and takes approximately 1 ½ hours. Without any incisions or stitches, a 1.2 mm probe is inserted by Dr. Ahn through a small needle hole under the chin and next to the jowls. The probe gently heats the tissue and causes immediate tightening.
Is FaceTite Safe?
FaceTite was designed by a team of brilliant engineers who were pioneers in aesthetic rejuvenation devices such as IPL. Built in to the system are 5 separate safety mechanisms that prevent the skin from heating beyond the optimal temperature. In the hands of a skilled Facial Plastic Surgeon such as Dr. Ahn, the procedure is extremely safe.
What Kind of Results Can I Expect?
Based on peer reviewed clinical trials, one can expect approximately 30-40% of the tightening of a traditional face/neck lift. No other non-surgical device provides this level of tightening.
What is The Recovery Time?
Most patients recover fairly quickly from FaceTite, and usually return to work within approximately 5-7 days. Patients can expect to have some swelling, tenderness, and bruising.
Is FaceTite Painful?
No. Local anesthesia and oral sedation are used to make the patient completely comfortable. There is no pain during the recovery.
How Soon Will I See Results?
Most patients notice results immediately after their treatment, but optimal results are noticed 6-12 months after the treatment.
How Long Do The Results Last?
The results of FaceTite last about 3-5 years, approximately half that of a face/neck lift.
