Dr. Ahn graduated cum laude in Biology from Harvard University, where his senior thesis received a magna cum laude reading, demonstrating his deep academic engagement and scholarly excellence. He spent two summers during, and one year after Harvard University, conducting organic chemistry and molecular biology research at the National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and at the Brigham and Women's Hospital Department of Surgery, strengthening his scientific foundation and fueling his early appreciation for innovation and precision in medicine. Dr. Ahn excelled in medical school, earning Alpha Omega Alpha honors distinction for both his 3rd and 4th years. He graduated from the George Washington University School of Medicine with distinction.
Following his graduation, he was accepted into the highly competitive residency in head and neck surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), which is annually ranked as one of the top hospitals in the country. He then completed a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at UCSF, where he solidified his expertise in this highly specialized field, mastering both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery and aesthetic medicine.
After his training, he returned to his hometown roots in the Boston area and founded the Aesthetic Wellness Center, now known as the Ahn Point Center, where he devotes himself exclusively to facial plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine—a specialty that seamlessly merges science and art.
