Q-What sort of anesthesia is fat transfer performed with? A-Under normal conditions, a local anesthetic may be used on both the donor and recipient sites.
Q-How is fat transfer performed? A-For the fat transfer procedure, fat is first removed from the donor area with a technique similar to liposuction. Once removed, the fat is prepared and then injected with a needle into the recipient site.
