Smiling Kids

Dr. Ahn has become a Silver Sponsor of the Smiling Kids’ Annual Birthday Bash.

The Birthday Bash helps raise funds for Smiling Kids, Inc. of Southborough, Mass., a non-profit organization that provides birthday presents anonymously to young children and teens in the Metrowest area. The charity works behind the scenes through partnerships with established, local non-profit agencies that provide services to low-income families.

Faces of Honor Program

Dr. Ahn is volunteering his services through the national Faces of Honor Program.  Dr. Ahn offers pro bono medical and surgical expertise to veterans who were deployed in Iraq or Afghanistan and received face or neck injuries. The motivation is simple: provide a "thank you" to the brave men and women who have served our country so well by offering what we have worked hard to achieve, our surgical expertise and skills as caring physicians.

Face-To-Face Domestic Violence Program

Dr. Ahn is volunteering his services through the national Face-To-Face Domestic Violence Program to Voices Against Violence in Framingham, helping victims of domestic violence who are physically or mentally scarred. Victims who have left abusive relationships can receive pro bono facial reconstructive surgery care from Dr. Ahn.

“The opportunity to help people look and feel better about themselves was one of the driving forces in my decision to enter the field of facial plastic surgery,” said Dr. Ahn. “Working with organizations such as Voices Against Violence reinforces that commitment and is personally gratifying.”
